My Five Leads:

Lead number 1:
There has been a policy granted by RHHS due to “phenomenal test scores” over the past three years. The lunch periods will be extended by 10 minutes, and will be valid to all students except freshman.

Lead number 2:
Just announced by Wal-Mart, Rock Hill will be receiving the next new Super Wal-Mart in May of 2006. Some community members do not like this idea and are sending around a petition, and will also be holding a town meeting April 27th.

Lead number 3:
Supposed to be a sixth grader, Napoleon Dynamite, is moving up to high school. Mr. Fred George has called Mrs.Mobley stating that he has a student that has been tested, and is a genius.

Lead number 4:
A survey was released yesterday by the Child Abuse Prevention Center, showing that tree to four children die a day in the united states due to child abuse or neglect. Survey has also revealed that more than half of the children who die are under the age of one, and seventy-nine percent are among the age of nine.

Lead number 5:
A house in Los Gatos was caused by a lighted cigarette on a sofa. Fire fighters were able to get the fire under control, and the homeowner only suffered minor burns.
